shadowkatt just had her first Wing Chun class, then observed participated in a Kali/Escrima class. She’s very, very excited.
The class won’t be much of a social thing, as there was only one other student there tonight—it’s a completely new center. That meant that she got a lot of individual instruction, though. The instructor, Sifu Alan, was certain that she’d had some sort of martial arts instruction before, but she hasn’t. She just took to it very well 🙂
He recommended that she consider Jeet Kune Do instead of Wing Chun. We’ll have to see.
