Book Review: Hold My Bear by Zoe Chant and Murphy Lawless

Hold My Bear (Virtue Shifters, #5)Hold My Bear by Zoe Chant
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Hold My Bear is book five, according to GoodReads, and four according to the author.

Charlee is trying to outrun her past, and she’s hoping she has finally managed to do so when she accepts a job as head chef in a new restaurant in Virtue. The fact that the boss is deliciously sexy is a nice bonus. She’s determined to keep her hands off him, though, as she hasn’t had any luck with love in the past.

Grizzly bear shifter Steven is focused on starting a bistro in Virtue and making a clean break from his family’s brewhouse tradition back in Renaissance, Colorado. He does not expect the new chef he is interviewing to be his fated mate, and he’s bowled over by Charlee’s skill and beauty.

Together, Charlee and Steven face the challenges of starting a new business, acclimating to a new town, and getting to know each other. They become a team and then become more.
