I just finished reading a bunch of different short stories that have been lurking in various programs on my iTouch. While they are reviewed in separate entries on GoodReads, I’m going to try to put the reviews in one blog post.
Shift by Rachel Vincent My rating: 3 of 5 stars I’m left with little to say that won’t be a spoiler other than, “Dangit, why can’t more authors work in some polyamory instead of using the same old jealousy-based plots?” Because I do NOT find that entertaining or interesting at ALL!
Grave Secret by Charlaine Harris My rating: 3 of 5 stars I’d say that wraps it up for this series. No, I won’t tell you why I’m saying that, or it’ll ruin the book for you.
Fantasy in Death by J.D. Night’s Edge by Maggie Shayne My rating: 4 of 5 stars “Dancers in the Dark” by Charlaine Harris is set in the same universe as the Southern Vampire/Sookie Stackhouse stories, but with none of the incredibly annoying characters. How refreshing!
