Sam helped a co-worker with his family’s computer after work, so he didn’t get home until almost 11pm! And at that, he had to bring the plagued thing home with him. I don’t know when he’ll be able to work on it, with MoMo Con this weekend.
He also talked to his buddy Dean tonight, and learned that Dean has been sick with a cold/flu/plague thing similar to what Katie and I have, and he’s had it for eight weeks! He’s been to the doctor repeatedly, and the doctor has said, “Yep, that’s how it goes. Nothing we can do for you. Go home and rest. Drink lots of fluids. Here’s your bill.”
This is not making me any more cheerful, I’ll have you know.
I recorded some more pieces, but need to wait for Sam to “produce” them (clean them up and add appropriate music). One of them isn’t something I would have chosen myself, but Todd, who created Live Readings, asked to hear others read it. It turned out better than I thought it would. And it was fun to do something that I wouldn’t have chosen.
So it’s request time! What would you like me to record, or write about?
I am, in fact, still keeping up with Thing-a-Day! I need to go post over there, though. I do wish I could automatically cross-post, but if wishes were fishes and all that.
I stitched tonight while Sam and I gamed. I also wrote for a while, earlier. Sam and I have recently begun participating in a forum that does a great job of encouraging introspection, and being a safe place in which to express oneself. It’s a powerful thing, and I’m in awe of the people who created and run it.
