They tend to have dry humor tossed in with the mystery/fantasy/vampire thing. The Jack Fleming books are set in the 30s, with a "hard-boiled detective" who gets murdered in the very first book. Elrod books to me and I can't remember why or when, but when I went looking for them they were hard to find. I don't know of a location anywhere near us. Gwinnett is a much better system than Dekalb, so I have a non-resident card there. I've never had access to Atlanta-Fulton. I miss Pines!
